This is the high road as cathedral, where the scent of wild thyme clings to your ankles and the wind is thick with lanolin and prophecy. The cheese made here, from milk warmed not by machines but by the breath of mountain fires, tastes of the unrepeatable. Brânză de burduf, wrapped in fir bark and rebellion, has the bite of an insult and the depth of a poem. Caș is soft like a confession. Urdă is the aftertaste of love you didn’t think would last but somehow still lingers. These are not delicacies. They are declarations. They speak in tongues, and if you listen closely, you’ll hear something ancient you once believed you’d forgotten. So you stopped for a photo. Good.
