The points you’re making are fair. But the problem with that is that it’s going to be a completely mixed view and it’s going to takeaway from the special moment that it is. And then it will leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouth for years to come. That’s not the time.

I do see both sides. I do see it being fair for Vince to be present for this moment and we know why. But even Vince would know that his presence would take away from the moment for John Cena to write off into the sunset. People will only be talking about Vince being there and will bring up all of the dirt, alleged dirt. Nobody would want that.
