I became a papa for the first time 9 months ago, and my daughter & son in-law are bringing my grandaughter up totally differently from how my kids were. Not to say mine had it worse, but we know so much more in just one generation. I have to say, somewhat reluctantly (due to my beliefs handed down in the subject) that the results of modern methods is noticeable in my little princess…in many ways but overall health, development and happiness (of everyone). We need to park our egos and learn from the validated research.
