This was 3/6/2020, the grand opening of my first facility. We were also going to celebrate my niece “Shay” turning 30. My husband and brother were returning from the barber and the breaks went out in the car. The paramedics asvised me that my brother was pinned inside and my husband had broken his legs and hip. They spent days in ICU, broken femur, legs, hips, ankle, blood transfusions yet i was happy they would survive. On top of all of this COVID hit! The hospital sent them home and advised me i needed to care for them. I had to use a bedpan for their bowel movements, inject them with blood thinner. My dream of a facility was shattered, i was distraught, confused, angry and broke. I remember thinking God has a funny sense of humor. It’s like I was being prepared for once to come. I say all this to say, it may seem impossible right now but just keep the faith and dont give up. We are currently working on our 6th facility! Trust his timing 🙏🏽💕
