At least for Apple Watches, I would say even though it’s 50m and you said it should only be for showers, the advertisements show people surfing and swimming and there’s even workouts for those so I think it’s would be at least designed for that and I mean I’ve been swimming with mine for years now

I’d like to add, if the watch says DIVERS 200m(300,400etc..) it means it’s iso certified, meaning it has been tested. Not all 200m watches can go to 200m. The channel “wonders of watchdom” has a great video titled “why can’t I dive with my dive watch?”

Also, never ever trust a vintage watch without pressure testing first. Gaskets get old and don’t work as well.

Many people don’t realise the amount of pressure a watch endures when diving into a pool. Good explanation . those people who say why you wear diver watch u would never go 200m blah blah blah - often don’t under this pressure issue

I confirm. I've been diving in the very salty water of the Red Sea for ten days wearing the Skmei 1502 watch. The watch stayed underwater for 330 minutes and didn't leak. Video proof is on my TikTok channel.
