I have a friend who lived in her boyfriend’s place for years. My friends and I used to complain about it. Dating a man and living with him might not always seem right, but if someone says “he will get tired,” then that means he never really loved her. I also believe it’s advisable to at least live in your boyfriend’s place for a couple of weeks to know if he’s the kind of person you want to spend your whole life with. Relationships that are purely long-distance and jump straight into marriage usually don’t last. My little advice, as a “small girl” that I am, is that you should know who you are really dealing with—that’s what matters most. I also have another friend who is still staying in her boyfriend’s house. Everyone—the families, friends, relatives—are aware, and their wedding is already on the way. In the end, we should date men who love and value us, and who also have a marriage mindset—not just boys. So, in a nutshell, saying “living in your boyfriend’s house will make him get tired of you” is not the right way to put it.
