They won't produce more eggs nor more meat. They will also be more reachable for flying predators. And you don't raise chickens for their intelligence. Also, in chickenhouses they keep warmth better which will boost egg production.

We tried to keep our hens roaming around freely, but our new henhouse is just next to a large forest (in Finland) and many have been eaten by foxes etc. A neighbour occasionally loses half of his stock of 100+ for the same reason and they are roaming freely. Not sure though if they have moved to live in the trees..

Why don’t you ever play live? I mean like Burzum having a lineup just for a concert. Would you ever consider doing that? I get that there’s already a solid burzum fan base... and live shows (for most bands) are often moreeee like about promoting the band you know on tour so more people hear about it or you could just keep it as a cult thing FOREVER
