Agree with stating passion for the position, but doesn't it seem like groveling? I'm not opposed to working but is coming in prepared and engaged enough without forcing vulnerability? Firms do not care when they lay off people but we as the masses must be vulnerable and the utmost professionalism seems unfair. But good advice all the same.
