Also- DONATE THE BRICKS!! Look up online where you can shop your bricks, a lot of places use them to build homes for those in more remote parts of the world (or have poorer conditions)

Also cutting up any bags, and sheets of plastic anything will help you fit in more! There’s a whole eco brick market that exists and spots that you can donate! It’s so much fun tbh and they can be used in making earth ships homes and planter beds etc!!

Important note, please do NOT do this in country’s that have a recycling plan. Then the plastic needs to be sorted in to types by the company!

eco bricking is so crazy to my like what do you mean the plastic that my 8x10 rug was shipped in can be cut up and occupy less than 1/8 of a 2L sprite bottle

see THIS is something way more attainable for me to help the earth, especially as a toddler mom, avoiding plastics is just impossible for me but doing this is something i can easily change in my habits

Get a wooden dowel rod for stuffing the plastic in. Safer and more surface area at the end to help compact the plastic

Use a wooden dowel!! From someone who learned the hard way (and 14 stitches+shot) that not all hard plastic is hard 😭

once you start, you realize just how much unnecessary plastic waste is in your daily life. and also its really fun seeing how much you can shove into a jug even when you think theres no more room
