Air Canada is required to find you alternate transportation leaving no more than 9 hours after your scheduled flight and compensate you $400 to $1,000 per person depending on the length of delay. I called AirCanada, the lady said that my flight (on the 20th) will be fine. Apparently, anything after the 18th will be fine, like the strike would only last two days... but it doesn't make sense??🙃

If government wants to be involved. The World Cup 2026 Canada and Mexico must step up and partner with domestic air lines to reduce rates across both countries. All citizens, tourists and World Cup fans can travel and experience all of both countries. One week before and after World Cup. Direct flights to Mexico. All flights within both countries. Government must partner with all domestic airlines to redesign tourism for the future.
