Honestly, I'm over this. It's cost you more in legal fees than it would cost to pay a fine if you removed the fence, although, given the fence is illegal in the first place, ignoring any potential fine would have zero effect. Do something or don't, but this is just bs.

As a resident of Washington State, I can not fathom being allowed to alter or add anything to a body of water. Dept of Fish & wildlife does not play here.

Your neighbor really needs a hobby. Also, that’s not a fence that’s a Karen barrier. You have every right to access & enjoy your property and clearly the neighbors are trying to prevent you from doing so. Is all she does is stare at your house all day??

So what happens if there’s a flash flood and people have to quickly jump into boats to try to stay safe? That could be such a hazard if someone’s boat or motor got tangled up in it during a flood.
