@save_gaza_save_palestine: We cannot stop the spread of contagious skin conditions but we can try to mitigate their effects. The occupation has bombed over 500 schools sheltering internally displaced people over the course of the last 22 months. This has only lead to further overcrowding of existing shelters that need to continuously add more people who are displaced. Our North medical teams addressed these concerns during our Medical Days for dermatological issues. On August 5, Translating Falasteen (@translating_falasteen) x The Sameer Project held such a Medical Days at al-Kulliyya Camp in the al-Mukhabarat area in Gaza City. We treated at least 150 children, mostly seeing scabies, fungal rashes, bacterial infections, and “heat rash” from the mixture of warmer temperatures causing sweat and the lack of hygiene products. Thank you for supporting our Medical Campaign.
