Our precious baby made a super fast entrance into this world and we are so in love! ❤️❤️ Baby’s due date was 8/8/25, and the Monday before,around 9pm, I started to feel stomach pain that wouldn’t let up. Pat and I went for a walk thinking it would help, I thought maybe it was Braxton Hicks, I didn’t have any Braxton Hicks before nor any other signs that labor would be soon. By midnight there were contractions but nothing was consistent except that the pain kept increasing. I called my OB to share the inconsistent contractions around 1AM and a few other changes (bowel, discharge- TMI maybe, LOL). After speaking with her on the phone she said she believed it was Braxton Hicks and to try to get some sleep but if anything felt off or anything intensified give her a call back. I tried to lay down but between needing to be close to the bathroom and the pain- literally couldn’t do anything except stand and wait for the next contraction. ‼️ Around 3AM I told Pat we just need to get to the hospital the contractions changed to 2-3 minutes apart lasting for 30 seconds. We honestly said to each other if they send us home, oh well, we didn’t know if it was real labor or not! We arrived to the hospital at 357 AM, Triage did a cervical check, told me I was already 5cm dilated and that the OB would be in shortly to do a quick ultrasound! I was estatic that I had labored at home for that amount of time and that the baby was coming!🤰🏼💕 OB came in to do the ultrasound and after a few seconds said unfortunately baby is breeched and we need to prep for the OR, that I’ll be delivering via c-section. Our sweet baby arrived at 451AM, not even an hour later than when we had arrived! ✨✨ I was really hoping to not have to have a C-section for multiple reasons and had expressed the concern to my doctors in previous appointments about this. I can honestly say none of it really matters. Our baby is here and healthy and it truly is the greatest gift from God. Absolutely, totally a whirlwind! We are so in love! ❤️❤️ #birthstory #babyiscoming #laboranddelivery #pregnancy #pregnancyannouncment #positivebirthexperience #positivebirthstory #csection #baby #ltkbump
