Some private practices like Dentists charge fees for late or cancelled service, I can agree with fees. However, unreasonable or large fees are unnecessary

I live in Cleveland and I had to pay like $500 to get braids in. I learned how to do it myself but now I’m going into college for pre med I won’t have time so I just loc’d my hair up 😭

I have never seen someone charge a full service fee for late clients. How could they even enforce this? Who would pay? If you are later than the allotted grace period, a late fee is understandable for the inconvenience. These stylist will keep that deposit for no shows and excessive tardiness and get it. I don’t think any service provider has to accommodate tardy clients. On the same token, I expect my provider to be on time to service me. Book a service on a day you are free.
