These are fun to do tbh, I guess depending on if you like a smaller shop with less politics than a dealer setting with tons of politics, but all depends on where you go, could be different and vary from dealer to dealer. I work at a dealer, little more hoops to jump through but can’t complain. Just depends on what you’re looking for.

Biggest advantage going independent is getting away from recalls and warranty. You'd likely make more money. At a dealer you have access to information and engineers you might not otherwise.
