Play time! It helps with bonding and keeps them enriched, so they don’t have behavioral issues. This can also look like treat toys (we have a ball with a hole at the top so treats fall out as the ball is pushed around). Definitely pay attention to their body language. They will tell you exactly what they want. ❤️

Lots of toy and tower options! Places for them to climb, hide, and explore. Look into silver vine sticks or powder for a treat, I like it more than catnip. Like grass plant for him to munch on

Every cat is different. Mine enjoys his free time, he cuddles for usually five minutes and waits by the door when he wants to go outside. My other cat likes to be babied and sleep in all day😂

Lots of love and treats. They are pretty simple, and, a lot more affectionate than people say they are. Also, a good window seat in the sun. They love to sunbathe. Good luck with your new kitty💜

At least 15 minutes of INTERACTIVE play time with you. Not an automated mouse toy. Use the wand, send him on a scavenger hunt with his favorite treats, hide and seek etc
