@pocket.psychologist: 🐴 I’m a psychologist. Give me 60 seconds and I’ll teach you the truth about your own psychology (it could save you a psychology degree) 1️⃣ Your brain is a prediction machine, not a truth machine. It doesn’t see the world as it is. It sees it as it expects it to be. Those “gut feelings”? Educated guesses, not gospel. 2️⃣ Your thoughts are not facts. You can notice a thought without believing it, obeying it, or even liking it. 3️⃣ Your comfort zone is a cage. Growth feels uncomfortable because it’s meant to. 4️⃣ You are not your thoughts but your behaviour builds your identity. Thinking about running ≠ runner. Acting in line with your values over and over is what shapes who you are. 5️⃣ Emotions are data, not directives. They can tell you what matters but not always what’s true. 6️⃣ Behaviour shapes feelings more than feelings shape behaviour. Stop waiting to feel motivated. Action creates the feeling. 7️⃣ Your mind is built for survival, not happiness. It’s wired to scan for danger, replay mistakes, and imagine worst-case scenarios. Happiness is a skill you practice. 💡 Save this for when your brain is being dramatic and tell me in the comments which truth hit you hardest today

"Comfort zones are a cage"?
I'll take a comfort zone over enduring more psychological trauma I've a received by leaving my comfort zone in the past.
Is this information even INTENDED to apply to neurodivergent people, or is this more neurotypical stuff that only applies to "normal people"?

In order to become found suitable for parole and also be interviewed by a psychologist. I had to become my own psychologist to figure out how I ended up in prison with a life sentence and basically everything I learned is what she said.

Great thoughts but slow down, half of your information is lost. And your information is great! But I shouldn’t have to watch your video 5 times to get it and I won’t.
