I got a notification my parcel couldn’t be delivered as nobody was home. I was home, actually saw the van coming and was unlocking my front door when I got the message. I ran after him and confronted him when he stopped to do the same 2 doors down. While I was yelling at the guy about being lazy the neighbour came out and said they just got the same text and started yelling at him too. Never happened again

Gotta love door bell camera we caught our Aus post guy leaving his van in drive and it crashed into our car I rang Auspost and they were rude as , Certainly not the Auspost of old , Looks like it's been run by Indians

I had a breakable package thrown over a five foot fence it even had fragile written on it, I heard it hit the ground from inside. When I went to the post office to complain they tell you to go online to make a report. They make it too hard to complain as well. 😏

He's paid to do a job. Regardless of the fact that he's not earning what a lawyer does, does not excuse this at all. Pretty sure if someone threw the delivery guys stuff around like that with no respect he wouldn't like it.

It's the system that's the problem. We always blame the people at the bottom, while the people earning the big bucks aren't having their work recorded by the public. Treating packages like that isn't okay and good on you for calling it out. But while some get an hourly rate or day rate - others are only paid per package delivered as a subcontractor. It's not just Aus Post, but Fed X and other courier companies also. People want (mainly) cheap stuff delivered within a quick time frame by people who might make $50 for a whole day's work after expenses. Most of what we buy is made by exploited workers. We need to start punching up FFS. A certain percentage of people are just apathetic and lazy. But people are giving up everywhere. Financial and housing stress post pandemic is cresting more mental health issues than we already had before. I hope you made a complaint, I'll give him some credit... he didn't try to immediately steal it after confirming it was delivered 😉🤣
