When you chase someone so hard giving all your time, energy and heart you don't notice in the moment that you are slowly losing yourself. Every unanswered words, every ignored effort, every time you bend your own worth just to be seen by them it chips away at your dignity piece by piece but slowly when the fog clears, you realize the most painful part wasn't that they rejected you,....it was that in trying so hard to get them, you abandoned yourself. you forgot your own value, your boundaries, your self respect, all because you wanted theirs. But the realization is also your turning point. Rejection stings, but it leaves behind wisdom. You learn that no love is worth losing yourself for, and no person is worth chasing to the point where you disappear 🙃
