@sierra.madre.photo: Another sweet moment with my littlest. This is a hard season, we are all evolving and growing whether we are turning 14 or about to be 43. So when my teenager (who just turned 14 this week) asked if he could take off his socks and shoes and walk around in the waterfall at Como Lake, your damn right I let him. Every once in a while, he asks to do things that he used to do when he was little, I sense the tension in his heart and mind that he still wants to be a kid in some ways, but also wants to be growing up, treated like the big brothers. Trying to slow down for these moments is so important. These days matter.
