Lmao Maggie I thought of you yesterday bc I posted something about my Notre Dame visit and I couldn't believe how many MEAN comments I got on my post. I had to delete quite a few even I was like "wait...if this is the reaction from what I said I don't know how Maggie is doing this!?" It matters that you speak up and I love it and I'm proud of you.

1. Art is inherently political 2. Focusing on what everyone else is focusing on isn’t really focused and feminist of you. 3. Vilifying people for finding bits of joy where they can is not how we’ll win this war. 4. The fandom provides community and community can make or break a movement. 5. Picking at a community you clearly aren’t a part of feeds into the divisiveness our admin wants so you’re not really being part of the solution with this take. 6. Protest how you want and in ways that you deem important but don’t, at the same time, look around and tell everyone else they’re not doing enough and expect to not get backlash. 6. Genuinely, I hope you find community. You’re more than welcome to join ours, but we are a team, not whatever this is. It will always be okay to find joy. Joy is also a form of protest. The admin got significantly less attention yesterday and they crave it more than anything. We don’t always have to be locked in. Their goal is to exhaust our minds, recharging is incredibly important.
