Don’t go to Edinburgh and don’t go to Glasgow. They are full of people, tourists and smoke. Only places worth visiting in Scotland are the highlands and any smaller towns. If you plan on going, stay outside of the cities and just go in when you want to see something.

my 4th great grandparents lived in the mf highlands (nearby fort william) and went “ah yes… let’s leave our oldest son behind bc we have too many kids and move to australia”… and then 30 years later my 3rd great grandfather who they left behind went “time to move to australia!” NO! now i gotta save up until i’m like 30 to be able to move there…
