it will supply power to the light rail vehicles since they run off electricity. all trams and light rails use them. the Amtrak NE corridor use a cannery system too, just how some electric trains get power

Those poles are for the overhead catenary wires , which those wires are not put up yet and also it will provide power to the light rail transportation vehicles and it return current that goes through the rails that are installed in the concrete

They are overhead catenary supports that connects the wire for electric light rail trains to power up with a pantograph on the top of the train.

I don't think it's 100% done. I think there are going to be wires that run parallel with track connected to those wires that you see there that will make contact with the boom on the train

Those are the poles for the overhead catenary wires (wires are not installed yet) which will provide DC power to the Light Rail Vehicles. Return current goes through the running rails that are installed in the concrete. Trains are expected to begin running in revenue service in Fall 2027
