The other day I took the little girl I nanny for to school and while I was getting her baby brother out of the car, she stomped on a gigantic red ant hill and got bit by fire ants. I felt sooooo bad. I threw off her shoes and stomped on them and she was traumatized.

I love this. You remind me of everything I love about babysitting and children as a whole. I was never as good as you but this was always how I would see myself in an ideal world ❤️you’re helping me with my kids and babysitting in the future lol I am also extremely embarrassing at work… is this because I am a weird babysitter lol

I would love knowing my babysitter felt comfortable enough to eat my food! Also I had a 5yo boy ask me if you can die on purpose or if you had to wait until you were 100. Then he told me 100 was too long so he would die on purpose at 16

My first week w a new family I broke a bottle 🙃 was my first time handling breastmilk and I put it in a glass bottle cuz that’s what they had and put it in a bottle warmer and maybe I filled the thing too much w water? Idk but it broke in a perfect line and the breastmilk was wasted. I felt so bad

One time I was babysitting twin boys (they were like 3) and I went into their room with one boy to change his diaper and the other locked us in the room (they had a child lock on the outside so the mom could keep them in their room for nap etc). I had to crawl out of the window with the other boy to get back in. And to make it worse we were swimming so we were all wet and in bathing suits.
