Police say when the victim then pulled out an airsoft gun, Timm shot him in the chest at close range. Video footage released by the King County Prosecutor's Office supports this sequence, showing Timm agitatedly confronting the victim before firing and surrendering to police. Timm's attorney claims he acted in self-defense due to the knife, while the victim was last reported in serious condition.
