Boruto became a fugitive and he also trained hard to become strong and survive...that's why his body grew more than the others...like Naruto who used to be the shortest in his team and after the timeskip his height is higher than sakura....and also maybe because of the manga style that makes him look young...and remember that inojin is the youngest in the boruto generation. That's why for me, people who ship Inojin and Hima are very compatible, especially since their parents are on the same team.

its was the same in narutos time skip. look at sasuke comparednti the others he looks and moves like a more mature young adult. that being because he was on the run living with a international criminal so he hunt his international criminal brother. meanwhile everyone else ( outside of naruto ) is training in the village under the protection / guidance of their mentors
