Adults don't have the patience to study a foreign language.They don't realise that we spent six years(at least in my country Greece) in elementary school to learn the basics.And then in middle school for three years we went deeper in grammar.That means nine years daily studying our language.Everyone expects to speak fluently in a few months which is impossible.

I used to have some Russian friends and for a little while a Russian girlfriend in Alaska who taught me the bad words. But now in Washington I don’t know any Russians, and I never got to learn anything I can actually use in normal conversation 😂
