@rootmd: Turning Baby Hairs into Thick Hair When I use a trichoscopy device to examine your scalp, I’m looking closely at those tiny, wispy “vellus” hairs. These baby hairs tell me your follicles are still active but producing thinner strands. The goal of treatment is to help them transition into strong, thick hairs that create fuller coverage. This is why staying consistent with hair loss treatments is so important—over time, we can preserve and strengthen existing hair and, in many cases, reverse thinning before it’s too late. #HairRestoration #HairLossTreatment #HairRegrowth #HealthyHairJourney #RootMD
Could you please take a look at my scalp photos? I’m 40 and have developed sudden thinning mainly on the top of my head. I can still see many very short, fine hairs that don’t seem to grow, along with yellowish material around some follicle openings. Does this look more consistent with AGA/miniaturization, telogen effluvium, or scalp inflammation?
