Not to dump my trauma on others, but my daughter suffered severe HIE (lack of oxygen, bad brain injury) at birth and passed at 3 weeks in the NICU. She was awake during the time, but I never heard her cry. You know how badly I wish I could have heard her cry? How badly I wish I could have spent nights with her keeping me up all night? This experience made me realize how blessed I will be someday go hopefully have a healthy baby. To experience the struggles of being a parent. Nothing will ever be as bad as not having them. As I always say now, a bad day with them will always be better than a day without them 🤍

people were complaining about their babies crying while mine was intubated & I would’ve done anything to hear him cry. I’ve followed you for awhile but you, your husband, & your daughter are in my prayers daily. People don’t understand it until it happens to them
