**Feel free to share your thoughts, advice, experiences, or even just tell me I’m not alone in the comments. You can even share this post in hopes of helping someone else who may relate❤️** I used to never struggle with having friends or keeping friends. I was always wanting to go do something, be around people, make plans, have fun, and genuinely had the time of my life. So how did I go from *that* person to someone who absolutely does NOT want to leave her house? 😂 I’ll cancel plans on you quicker than ever because the thought of getting ready, doing my hair, putting on makeup, and making myself look presentable feels completely overwhelming. Half the time, I don’t even want to do those things for myself. I feel like my spark has just been completely depleted. And I’ve tried to get it back. I really have. But I genuinely cannot seem to get anywhere close to the person I used to be. The funny part is, as much as I want to make new friends… I don’t really like people. 😂💁🏼‍♀️ I’d say sorry, but I’m not. I actually love talking to people—as long as it isn’t face-to-face. 😂 I enjoy the friends I do have, but I can only socialize for so long before I’m overstimulated, mentally drained, or something rubs me the wrong way and I’m ready to go home. And I think a huge part of it is just exhaustion. I’m a single mom with very little support. I’m constantly dealing with my kids fighting, cleaning, cooking, working, keeping up with everything that comes with running a household, and trying to be a good mom while feeling completely drained myself. There are days when I’m so overwhelmed and exhausted that I feel like I have absolutely nothing left to give. And then I feel guilty for feeling that way because somehow, when I’m overwhelmed or lose my patience, I feel like I’m failing as a mom. I don’t trust people easily anymore either, which makes the whole “go make new friends!” thing a little difficult. 😅 But I **do** want to change this. I want to slowly figure out how to get myself back out into the world. I want to find things that are actually fun again. I want to meet people without feeling like I have to force friendships. I want to feel comfortable leaving my house and making plans again. Most importantly, I want to find that spark in myself again. So, if you’ve ever been in this kind of season of life… *How did you get yourself back out there? *How did you make friends as an adult when you didn’t really trust people? *What are some low-pressure, actually FUN things to do when you’re socially exhausted? *And how did you learn to enjoy yourself again without feeling guilty for taking time away from your kids? I’m genuinely looking for advice, experiences, ideas, or even just someone to say, “Girl, SAME.” 😂 Because I feel incredibly alone sometimes, even with two kids running around my house 24/7. ❤️ #loveyourself #viral #fyp #advice
