imo you've shown up incredibly generously here, and I would definitely have booked a consult if I was in NY. Still, your content is helping me with my search in TX. I've had trouble finding a therapist for a lot of the reasons you've touched on in other vids

As someone who has had both traumatic as well as beneficial, life-changing therapy, personalized care and the ability to collaborate and empathize with clients are invaluable and honestly not easy to come by in my experience. Your denouncement of the “game of capitalism” is super relatable and marketable in my book as a mental health consumer. 😂 I love that you are being authentic about how commodifying health care can be very offputting. Thank you for the work you do.

I think you are offering something rare in a niche space, consistently bringing perspectives and insights that very few others address. You are clearly intelligent and refuse to cater to the lowest common denominator. You have the ability to build a brand rooted in substance and values rather than mere self-promotion. If your voice is not put forward, it will not be heard, and that would be a genuine loss because your mindset is both valuable and needed. Keep showing up with the same integrity you have now. The right people will hear you, and your presence will grow naturally over time.

I’m a therapist in private practice and have the same concerns. There’s something about marketing and selling your services that really baffles me. Right now, I’m walking down the networking path because making professional connections feels genuine to me.

there is another way. we can easily use the current infrastructure to create a synergistic system parallel to the current marketing. tldr. don't be discouraged. things are being built.
