i work at a dentist and gum desease is not reversible which is periodontitis. if your gums bleed doesn’t necessarily means that you have gum disease. it can mean that you either have swollen gums or sensible gums because you don’t floss or brush everyday. either way, go to the dentist. just because nothing is hurting or you don’t feel the need to. always check up on yourselves.

Hygienist here! For all the people saying you can’t afford to go to the dentist because you don’t have dental insurance, I would highly recommend looking for your local dental hygiene school!! They mostly do cleanings free or at a very cheap price !

An app called finch has helped me brush my teeth for a week in a row along with washing my face and other self care things I would normally skip brushing my teeth for weeks leaving my hair matted this app has helped tremendously for me

also, if your using a hard brissle toothbrush it can cause bleeding gums, it should say on the package what kind it is, and also brushing your gums can help too! get a soft toothbrush
