Honestly, in this economy, put your efforts towards beefing up your emergency fund. 1 month is scary low with kids and being a mostly sole provider.

I have always been big on budgeting but it just kept our bills paid but nothing was ever getting ahead. And watching your videos it randomly clicked with me I budgeted every paycheck but then the next payday I was budgeting everything in my account not just the new income I don’t know what made it click but it did when I started using your spreadsheet. I’m sure I could get better but we have a 600 buffer in our bill account after a month of consistency. Where before it just stayed at $100 my goal is to get it to a month a head

I would focus on increasing the emergency fund first! Even if you increase that to another month’s worth saved up, it puts you in a better position to pay off the rest of your debts off
