Are you worried that you won’t be able to change your interior design down the road? Like essentially the wood paneling and floors and marble throughout the house has predetermined the overall esthetic and furniture you will have to adhere too. You would essentially have to gut the house if you want to change that. You can change the floors or the kitchen style really without gutting the house because everything is so intertwined, vs just replacing the floors and painting the walls. Not a criticism just a question

If you stick with the cream, it gives that warm feeling that goes along with the wood tones. The other color looks more gray. It almost clashes with the wood.

I think the cream/white all clashes harshly with the wood, and would consider something darker in tone. even like a woody beige type

As a painter and decorator myself, I think Feather Down pairs beautifully with your interior and the white oak. It really warms up the space and ties everything together nicely.
