Do you think animal shelters should vet adopters more carefully, or is the adoption fee enough to deter people with bad intentions? I prefer fostering for animal shelters rather than rescues because the animals get adopted faster, but I wonder if the animals are actually going to good homes.

Behavioral euth and adopting out biting dogs.. an organization I know is struggling with these decisions and it’s breaking the staffs hearts as it seems so up in the air and undecided and they’re being asked for input but worrying about saying the wrong things
