And if you don’t give your nervous system a way to release that pent-up sh*t, it will find a way out anyway (hello random anxiety, rage at small things, or feeling like you might combust). That’s why grounding practices aren’t fluffy self-care, they’re survival tools. And the best bit? They can be stupidly simple + available in the moment you actually need them. So my nature reset number 2 goes thusly: Touch grass, sit under a tree, or even put on a nature soundscape if you can’t get outside. Rewilding yourself is about giving your body permission to complete the stress cycle so you don’t stay stuck in survival mode. It's messy, real, and 100% more effective than pretending you’re fine.
