as someone that stayed in a bnb in El salvador and Brazil. once u switch to bnb u don’t do resort anymore it’s way better and cheaper

It depends on the country for me,,Cancun Jamaica or DR I understand being on a resort but Central America or South America I gotta be with the locals that's where the best food is lol,, just proceed with caution I'll say

If it’s not safe why go visit the country then? Staying in the resort eating American food and staying there the whole time is a waste and not indulging in the culture… just stay going to Panama City beach FL.

And let me tell y’all. To up your experience at these resorts get the “privilege” type packages! Top shelf liquor, secluded pool, beach, and dining options within the resorts. A little extra but worth it!

I will literally stop making plans with you if you are talking about an Airbnb out the country.. that’s my nonnegotiable. it’s not safe, it’s not convenient, and I won’t be compromising the two for whatever reason

I feel the same mostly, but it depends on where I go tbh. Caribbean/Mexico = resort. Europe = airbnb/vrbo.

Agree💯. Not only for safety but, I am on vacation, I want fresh towels every day. I’m not cleaning, or cooking anything. I want to be pampered, and that happens at a resort.
