They have American bishops, American clergy, they speak English, and have no ties to the Orthodox Church in Russia. Allot of them are Ethnic Alaskan in Native villages, where native Alaskan orthodox priests conduct the liturgy in Native languages for a Native Alaskan congregation. They are Orthodox Christians, not Russian Orthodox. The Orthodox Church is for everyone, not just Russians.
