Tossing good food is an absolute disgrace but forcing people to accept government services is making them dependent amd saying it's OK to live like this. Either way, this is not ok.

As sad as it may be, if food is expired or has " gone bad" (even before expiration date) many organizations are required to throw it away....especially if they have food service permits and kitchen licenses (I work with the homeless). We get so many businesses that donate "bad" food, just so they can get the tax write off....but we just end up having to toss it unfortunately
