I can’t believe the comments- a Basque cheesecake is from the basque region in SPAIN. It has been around for about 45years and the ingredients are as shown minus bananas-what a lovely addition- they are cooked at a high temperature which is how you achieve the lovely crust and creamy centre. Those of you who think cheesecake is uncooked are thinking about the trend for shortcuts as a traditional cheesecake is also baked Bain Marie or not
