@frageenawia: In Islam, Friday (Jumuʿah) is the best day of the week — a day of blessings, mercy, and reward. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it, Adam was created, on it he was admitted to Paradise, and on it he was expelled from it.” (Sahih Muslim) Allah has dedicated a whole chapter in the Qur’an to this day — Surah Al-Jumuʿah — reminding believers to leave trade when the call to prayer is made, and to hasten towards the remembrance of Allah. Key virtues of Friday: • Special congregational prayer (Salat al-Jumuʿah) replacing Dhuhr. • Reciting Surah Al-Kahf brings light for the whole week. • A special hour when duʿāʾ is accepted. • A day for purification, reflection, and unity of the Muslim community. Friday is not just the weekend’s start — it’s a weekly Eid for Muslims, a day to recharge the soul and draw closer to Allah. O Allah, on this blessed day of Jumuʿah, bless my family with health, faith, and happiness. Forgive my father and brother, grant them Your mercy, make their graves gardens from Paradise, and admit them into Jannah without reckoning. Forgive all deceased Muslims, heal the sick, guide the living, and unite us all in Your mercy. O Allah, on this blessed day of Jumuʿah, grant me and all who follow me every halal means of sustenance. Open for us the doors of provision, bless our efforts, remove our hardships, and fill our lives with barakah, contentment, and gratitude.
