We live in Sac in the Citrus Heights area and we saw it in real time become so expensive thanks to the Bay Area residents moving here to telework. 👏😬 people now sell their homes for more than half a million but they aren’t even renovated

We're in Sac County, 2 working adults w 1 kid. We are almost exactly the necessary "living wage." It feels accurate, we don't struggle BUT we can't afford new cars and nice vacations. However, we did decide to spend money on cleaners 2x/mo for mental health.

I have $71.00 to my name for the next two weeks.. I’ve never struggled this much even living in Venice and Santa Monica CA. I thought moving here would be easier boy was I hit with reality. Moved to a shittier area, with shittier wealth just to pay way more. I’m shocked to say the least.
