It’s been two years and some of you still don’t believe that’s me in the video and pics. But yes — that’s me, not Lori Harvey 😂 (no idea where that rumor started!). These are some of the moves that built my back from scratch to mood board material. Save this if you’re chasing that V-taper too! I typically do two warm-up sets to prime the movement, followed by two intense working sets to focus on quality and muscle engagement. DEADLIFTS How Deadlifts Help You Slay a Backless Dress: 1.	Build Definition & Shape Deadlifts sculpt your lower and upper back — hello, visible muscle lines and a toned silhouette. 2.	Tighten the Waist A stronger posterior chain (especially glutes and lower back) creates that natural “snatched” look from the back. LAT PULL DOWN Why Lats Look Good in a Backless Dress ✨ 1. Definition & Tone •	Well-developed lats create gentle muscular lines down the sides of the back. •	This adds shape and structure, especially when flexed subtly or when you move. ✨ 2. Contours Catch the Light •	Lats sit just under the shoulder blades, so when toned, they form smooth, elegant curves that look stunning when illuminated under lighting in dresses or evening wear. UPPER BACK ROWS Upper back rows shape the muscles that give your back the “fit and feminine” look that dresses highlight — especially when the back is open or exposed. They give you that beautiful combo of: •	✨ Elegance •	✨ Strength •	✨ Grace REAR DELTS CABLE CROSS 💫 1. They Complete the Shoulder “Cap” •	The rear delts are the back part of your shoulder, and when toned, they give your shoulders a rounded, lifted look. •	This adds soft but sculpted definition at the top of your arms and across the upper back — beautiful when the shoulders are exposed. 👉 Think: that subtle shoulder curve that peeks out in halter tops or strappy dresses — that’s rear delt work showing. ⸻ 🎯 2. They Frame the Upper Back •	Rear delts are key for that “finished” look to your upper back. •	When toned, they gently define the line between the shoulder and upper back, making your muscles look symmetrical, smooth, and sculpted under the skin. #tonedback #backworkout #pinterest #back #womensbackpack
