i looked into it, apparently it’s a rom hack of a 2016~2017 indie game that was also released on the nes! the fact they’re not even selling it at a markup compared to the original is surprising honestly

I think I actually saw spirit Halloween post about the game here on tt and somehow I got it in my head that it's for the switch and not for the NES, it's way cooler this way tho

probably cause its also on this other game that has retro like games on it with halloween, ash vs evil dead, and terrifier. i dont remember what its called but the actual download is free and the games are like $15. super fun and nastolgic
