Responding to your video. I am shocked of the behavior of your mother towards you. That sounds more like something that would come from a step mom. However, give it another shot to mend the relationship and if it doesn’t work, then you have a clear conscience because you gave it your all.

We need to normalize boundaries. Family is not what you see on tv. It is okay to go no contact with someone that does not know how to treat you even if they are a blood relative.

Absolutely do NOT ever ever open yourself up to her. What you really need to do is find a prestigious hospital to transfer to and move your family to an incredible area- and never speak to her again. The ultimate revenge- she won’t be able to snoop anymore and it will eat her up inside to see you living a life she cannot ever get. THAT is key to your healing. Until you totally cut her out distance-wise, your nervous system will NOT let you heal.
