@awakewithamy: today’s prompt is inspired by my recent trip to Porto. Porto is the kind of city that leaves an imprint. You can see its history in the patterned tiles, taste it in the food, feel it in the port wine that warms your chest. A local told us how tourism has changed the city, one of those conversations that makes you see past the postcard version of a place. After 8 years of living in Europe, my definition of home has shifted. I’ve built a home within myself, and I’ve learned that home is community, safety, stability.
