India is throwing manUfacturing down the gutter to protect farming. This is the issue with democracy, an unproductive sector is being protected & subsidized due to large vote bank, while high productive manufacturing is being undermined. I would have lost election, but choose manufacturing over agriculture

We need peace between India and China. We need deeper ties between India and the US. And we need the US to continue to lead innovation without feeling insecure about China rising. We need the 3 largest economies in the 2030s to respect each other to bring a golden age of humanity. The current leaders won’t get us there.
