Edit to add a few things: 1. The walls aren't literally sweating. The building is a year old and the concrete can release humidity for up to two years. 2. Severe weather in the US and Germany are different. While both get tornados, Germanys are typically classified as F1 and in the US they can get up to F5s, and in Tornados like that concrete and brick can become projectiles 3. I am sorry I didnt understand water is not hard everywhere. 4. I have 2 small kids- the furniture assembly part was mostly because we ordered 4 really big things, the pieces are unlabeled, and all but one have become multiday projects when it just would have been safer and more efficient to pay someone 50€. 5. People communicate differently. I am not going to assume someone's intentions are bad when they communicate to me in their second language, when regionally communication styles are different as well.
