My ex has a PHD from Yale and when his company hired him, they had to offer him $20k more to match his offer from someone else. They immediately bumped everyone else pay to match his too. They were all so happy he got hired 😂

I worked at the same company for 25 years and trained almost every single employee for close to 15 years including management...I walked out when they hired my son out of highschool making as much as I made after 25 years.

I have 16 years customer service experience and been with company for about a year now and I do a majority of the non manager work and I found out new hires are getting paid more than me and they have next to no experience at all and do much much less work it's infuriating, make it make sense

There’s plenty of firms out there that will evalauate payroll and offer adjustments. It’s hard for both sides to swallow that pill the third party suggests.

I’ve been paid less for years and have trained 5 different people for their jobs who end up being my bosses all because I never finished my bachelors degree. I’ve been at my company for 19 years and have worked in every section of our department. They stay for a year or two and then leave. I then run everything in the department until they hire the new boss who I then train on how to do their job. New boss makes $40 to 50,000 more then me while I carry most of their workload.

This happened to me. My boss created a new role and it was my title at a much higher pay. I looked for a new job and got a better title and higher than what she posted.

@Roland Costain: No shortage of people to work but a major shortage of people who will actually get off their lazy ass’s and show up and actually work and work hard and take pride in their work . Instead we have oodles and oodles of self entitled complainers and whiners that spend more time pissing n moaning than actually working. And we wonder why the companies and industries are investing in Robotics ! Because contrary to popular society belief the fucking work won’t do itself! And it still has to be done ! And companies can’t afford to hire 6 people at high pay to do 1 persons work! Our technology and laziness is making the human work force obsolete
