Everything is right on point! I just think we should stop using “men don’t do this” as an example or comparison. Because actually, some men do fast and pray for their marriages. And Our walk isn’t about men at all, and honestly, I’m tired of that constant comparison.

And the reality is they are so male centred and think the reward they will get from going to church is a God fearing man…and they keep looking for that “God fearing man” and a lot of these men they come as wolves in sheep clothing to deceive them and once it doesn’t work out you’ll hear “God why me” 😭😭 please

I always say this! There’s a whole lot more to Christianity than marriage and men😩 The gospel is so beautiful, I don’t know why people make it seem like the end goal of all of this is just marriage.

Reading the Bible is essential for growth, but spiritual gifts are not earned through effort they’re given by grace. Romans 11:29 says God’s gifts are “irrevocable.” So, to claim someone’s tongues are “from the their own desire just because they don’t read their Bible frequently is a misunderstanding. The validity of tongues depends on the Holy Spirit’s power, not on personal routines. Tongues remain a heavenly gift, not a fleshly act.!!

When we pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit is making intercession so it’s nothing to do with our desires. But yes people need to read their Bible more for when they are praying in their understanding!!

How many men pick up their phone to vlog? I watched a video someone recording herself during her Esther fast. We are the ones always putting ourselves out there most and society has a contribution to it. Even if a man fasted he might just tell the leadership he is accountable to he might not even tell friends

Please don’t listen to them. You should pray and fast when it comes to big decisions in life, including marriage. That’s how people end up married to the wrong person. They “despiritualise” marriage in the name of not wanting to look desperate. Also if you can pray for 6 hours, I’m pretty sure you have something that someone who can’t does not have. The issue with sayings like that it seems like they actually don’t believe in the power of prayer. Prayer is communication with God. It’s not just to get things. Anyone who studies the Word and hears God will be pushed to pray. And when you pray God speaks to you and will show you the scriptures. Our Christian walk is not a set of boxes to check, it is a life to be lived from the inside out.

i finally got on the right side of Christian content. When am asked why I don't pray for a husband I say the Bible says he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from God. All I can do is pray he finds favour with God so he can find me his good thanggggg😂😂😂
